David Lawrence is the founder of Litigoal and a senior advisor to the organization. David is an Illinois licensed litigator and attorney at law who has been living and working in Thailand since 2010. He began his career in the courts of Chicago in the mid-2000s. David remained focused on litigation in Thailand, notably being a member of the Dispute Resolution Department of Tilleke & Gibbins before going in house with SET/SGX listed Sri Trang Agro-industry, PCL, where he played a key role in bringing their years-long joint ventures dispute to a quick and favorable conclusion.

David holds a Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, a Masters of Business Administration from Thailand premier business school, Sasin School of Management of Chulalongkorn University, and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines.

David is a member of several chambers of commerce in Thailand as well as holding various leadership roles in the Rotary Club of Bangkok South, a charity club that focuses on aiding underprivileged and at-risk youth through sustainable service projects, including deployment of over 650 clean drinking water systems in rural schools around Thailand.
