Litigoal’s Fractional General Counsel service provides your company ongoing legal support to businesses on a flexible, part-time basis without the cost and commitment of hiring a full-time in-house lawyer. This role allows companies—particularly startups, SMEs, and growing businesses—to access experienced legal counsel who can advise on day-to-day legal matters, risk management, contracts, corporate governance, board meetings, and regulatory compliance, as may be agreed in the scope of services.

The Litigoal team works closely with management and key stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance aligned with the company’s commercial objectives. Services may include reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, managing disputes, coordinating with external counsel when necessary, and supporting strategic decision-making from a legal perspective.

Experience and Background

Litigoal’s Fractional General Counsel service is led by David Lawrence, an experienced international lawyer with extensive in-house counsel experience and a current practice in corporate advisory, dispute resolution, and cross-border commercial matters. David has advised businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors on a wide range of legal and strategic issues, including commercial contracts, corporate structuring, regulatory risk, and complex business disputes.

Through years of practice working with international clients and businesses operating in Asia, David brings a practical and commercially focused approach to legal advice. His experience includes assisting companies in navigating multi-jurisdictional legal issues, managing disputes, and coordinating legal strategy across different legal systems.
